KT23A-JK02〈Beer Jacket〉

1930年頃のアイビーリーグ名門校プリンストン大学のユニフォームとして有名なこの形。 卒業式では、このジャケットに寄せ書きのようにメッセージやイラストを互いに書きあう文化もあったので、ヴィンテージショップなどでは様々なキャラクターのイラストが描かれた魅力的な1点ものに出会うことが多々あります。そんなビアジャケットのシルエットは残しつつ、ポケットにウェーブしたフラップをつけたり、タックを入れてふっくらとしたパッチポケットにするなど、新たにデザインを加えてみました。
カバーオールのざっくりとしたシルエットではあるものの、ヒップ下くらいの丈感なので、ミニドレスのようにしてブーツと合わせたり、ショート丈のボトムと合わせて甘めのスタイリングをするのも新しいスタイルかもしれません。フーディの上に羽織ってルーズな合わせもしてみたいです。

Based on the iconic “beer jacket” worn by Princeton University students in the 1930s, this piece reinterprets a classic silhouette with modern kotohayokozawa details. While maintaining the original loose fit, we added soft volume to the patch pockets with subtle tucks and designed the flaps with a signature wave shape for a playful twist.
Though inspired by vintage menswear, the hip-length cut allows for versatile styling—wear it as a mini dress with boots, pair it with short bottoms for a feminine contrast, or layer over a hoodie for a casual, relaxed look. A nostalgic item with fresh attitude.
